With an aim to contribute towards the development of our youth, IBEX Global organized an “Emerging Leaders Program-ELP” on 11th & 12th August 2017at Pakistan American Cultural Center (PACC) - Karachi. It was an effort to empower our young blood and instill a sense of achievement in them, by organizing various competitions. Also, it served as an important medium to promote IBEX as an employer of choice & to attract the right talent to IBEX Global. The primary audience of this program was the recent graduates, who were seeking for initial path to kick start their careers, while the secondary audience was the segment of people who were curious about IBEX Global and wanted to know more about the prospective job opportunities available for them. Following activities were covered under the IBEX Global-ELP Karachi Chapter.

IBEX Global — ELP had been an event that provided a perfect blend of sports and academia, thereby introducing graduates to the corporate world in a professional manner, so they can multiply and galvanize their professional networks. Hundreds of astute students from different universities of Karachi manifested great enthusiasm to be a part of ELP and because of the overwhelming response of students; ELP has created a distinguished name for itself as a coveted talent showcase destination. Along with this, IBEX Recruitment Drive was carried out on both days of event. It was beautiful morning of 11th August at PACC, where we all set to witness one of the biggest Leadership events in Karachi. The event kicked off at 11am by throwing light on IBEX Global legacy along with a brief introduction, followed by enthralling video about IBEX Culture & Business Dynamics, which in-deed increased the interest levels of the audience. The first day of the event was dedicated to the Painting & Quiz Competitions. The Painting Competition was won by a student from ILMA University while a group of young graduates from IQRA University swept the board in the Quiz Competition, after a very tough battle with its fellow competitors. Besides this, lucky draws were held and various IBEX giveaways were distributed among the participants as a token of appreciation. Furthermore, proper arrangement of various stalls containing eatables and fresh juices were set in the premises to refresh the audience out there. Similarly, the second day of the event was dedicated to the Case Study Competition, Photography Competition and IBEX CUP Cricket Tournament. The footfall at the event was almost double as of the first day, which was a clear demonstration of the success of the first day event. The tenacity of DOW University students held them winners of Case Study Competition, IQRA University surmounted in the photography competition, while Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology clinched the title of Champions in the IBEX CUP Cricket Tournament. The success of this activity paved way for an ELP Season-2, which would be launched soon with more enthralling competitions. So don’t miss out and be sure to stay connected!
